Joel Embiid fouled out in the extra session of Game 3, picking up 22 points, 19 rebounds, a steal and a block in 41 minutes on Saturday
Embiid also shot 10-of-26 and committed three turnovers, an issue that might've cost Philly the game today. J.J. Redick (18 points, three triples) had an egregious one at the end of regulation when he bounced a pass behind two players who weren't even looking his way, leading to an easy layup at the other end that gave the Celtics a two-point lead with 1.7 to go. Marco Belinelli's heroics will keep Redick's name out of the spotlight, but it was a brutally executed play. Getting back to Embiid, his post-ups weren't that effective though he did have a few monster jams that nearly blew the roof off the Wells Fargo Center. The Sixers simply need to execute better after the Celtics schooled them down the stretch. Embiid and his occasional sloppy play are far from exempt there.
