Joel Embiid scored just five points on 1-of-7 from the floor on Friday night, though he did add in seven rebounds, one assist and a block in 15 minutes of action.
Embiid shot and missed three 3-pointers in the win, something he has clearly worked on that just wasn’t falling for him on Friday night. He could be the ultimate high-risk, high-reward candidate in the upcoming season. He’s shown flashes of pure dominance at both ends, capable of doing anything on a basketball court. The risk: He’s played just 31 regular season games in his three years in the league. He’s a top-25 option with endless potential if he stays healthy.
