Sixers center Joel Embiid didn’t participate is Wednesday’s shootaround but is still expected to play against the Lakers.
Embiid owners can breathe a sigh of relief with no news of an injury despite him missing shootaround. The Process played 36 minutes on Monday which was a career high, so hopes are high that he won’t be on a strict minutes restriction during the season. The big man is sitting as a top-50 player in 9-cat leagues thanks to 4.6 turnovers per game and a top-20 player in 8-cat.
