Kings coach Dave Joerger says that rookie big man Skal Labissiere is “a lot closer to being in the rotation and getting some consistent minutes.”
Skal took a big tumble on draft night and landed in Sacramento’s lap, so he’s got plenty of upside down the road. He’s dabbled with a three point shot and has the length to rack up steals and blocks once he learns the team’s defensive concepts. He’s one game removed from a 13 rebound performance and has received double digit minutes in each of the last four. He’s worth keeping an eye on and could turn out to be a useful stash in deep leagues, while owners in keeper leagues should be excited by the prospect of meaningful playing time for Skal.
