The Hawks have announced that John Collins "continues to progress in his rehabilitation from mild inflammation and soreness in his left ankle" and will be re-evaluated on November 4.
That means Collins will miss at least the next six games, and likely more – the 4th is his re-evaluation date, and he'll presumably need to get through practices and workouts before returning to the court after that. Alex Len and DeWayne Dedmon will be the main players in the frontcourt until then while Vince Carter should continue to start at power forward. If you're looking for a positive, Collins has been allowed to start taking spot-up shots as part of his rehab.
