John Collins went bonkers in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers, grabbing a career high 25 rebounds to go with 20 points (8-of-15 FG), six assists and a block in 36 minutes of action.
Collins’ sophomore campaign was largely a success. He essentially matched his ADP in both 9 and 8-cat leagues, finishing at top-50 value on the season with averages of 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.6 blocks on .560 shooting from the field. It’s worth noting that while he surprisingly under-performed at accumulating defensive stats this season, he managed to increase his blocks per game up to 1.4 since the beginning of March. We think it’s safer to assume that he’ll be closer to that number next season than he will be to his paltry 0.6 season average.
