John Paxson, when asked about the upcoming draft, stressed that the Bulls want to look for versatile wing players with length, shooting and defense.
Paxson also touched on how much the league has changed and how positions have started to go away. Most GMs probably already recognized that but the Bulls front office seems to be on a year-long tape delay at times. Paxson also added how the team is "going to be young…going to be athletic." The last time the Bulls wanted an "elite scoring wing" they looked at P.J. Tucker years ago, and the last time they wanted to go athletic and young they signed Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade. Take his comments with a grain of salt. However, based on the comments players such as Luka Doncic, Michael Porter, Mikal Bridges, and Miles Bridges seem to fit the Bulls' wants. We'll see if the Bulls stay true to their word.
