John Wall finished Thursday’s 116-89 win with 24 points, eight assists, three steals and a block in 34 minutes of action.
Wall was able to get some rest in the second half as the Wizards ripped off a 22-0 run in the first quarter and never looked back. The Celtics didn’t have the miracle comeback in them this time and the feistiness was the only reason to stay tuned to this one. Wall has also now had 10 consecutive playoff games with at least 20 points and at least seven assists. He was able to shoot 7-of-19 from the floor and 9-of-10 from the line as Washington cruised in this one. With the bad blood ratcheted up, expect some bigger performances from the stud point guard starting Sunday as Washington looks to even the series before heading back to Boston.
