John Wall was excellent in Wednesday's 125-130 overtime loss, returning from a one-game absence (left heel) to post 34 points, six rebounds, 13 assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer while shooting 14-of-26 from the field.
It wasn't all roses, however, as Wall had his right foot stepped on in overtime. He checked out of the game immediately but was able to return after 45 seconds of game time. Wall says that his foot is merely "sore" but we'll keep an eye out for any updates tomorrow. The Wizards might want to tread carefully as he's now dealing with injuries to both feet. As long as Wall is on the court, however, he's an early-round fantasy play.
