John Wall will play and reportedly see a minutes increase in the second half of Washington’s back to back versus the Knicks on Thursday.
This is great news for Wall owners and should inspire confidence moving forward. Wall is off to a relatively sluggish start (for him) in the assist department averaging just 8.0 per but that should see an uptick soon.
December 12, 2019, 12:47 amBogdan BogdanovicSG, Sacramento Kings
Bogdan Bogdanovic hit the game-winner on Wednesday night against the Thunder, ending the night with 17 points, three boards, a steal and a two 3-pointers.
Bogdanovic can score, and that's about it. If you need a quick jolt of points in your lineup, he is a solid streaming option. However, he can't be relied on for much else in standard leagues.
December 12, 2019, 12:42 amMarvin Bagley IIIPF, Sacramento Kings
Marvin Bagley returned to action on Wednesday night and saw 23 minutes off the bench, ending with 11 points, six rebounds and a block on 5-of-13 shooting.
Bagley was weened into action but was able to contribute on both ends of the glass. It will be worth monitoring how time is shared with Richaun Holmes playing so well in his absence.
December 12, 2019, 12:38 amChris PaulPG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Chris Paul missed the game-winner on Wednesday, but still had a respectable night, finishing with eight points, seven rebounds, 12 assists and a career-high three blocks.
Paul wasn't able to get it done with his shooting on Wednesday, but made up for it with the rest of his stats. Not many people are setting career-highs at the age of 34, but the blocks were a nice gift to anyone with Paul in their starting lineups or DFS rosters. Paul is just outside of the top-20 and should be around the mark, barring injury.
December 12, 2019, 12:33 amSteven AdamsC, Oklahoma City Thunder
Steven Adams collected another double-double on Wednesday, finishing the night with 12 points, 11 boards, four assists and two blocks.
Believe it or not, Adams has been a top-20 player over the last two weeks. It was a slow start for the big man, but he is quickly making up for it.
December 12, 2019, 12:27 amShai Gilgeous-AlexanderSG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put together a well-rounded line on Wednesday, ending with 14 points, four boards, four assists, a steal and a block on 4-of-11 shooting.
SGA is struggling with efficiency and has been outside the top-130 over the last two weeks. His ability to pitch in with other stats is promising and some buy-low offers would be advised before he heats up.
December 12, 2019, 12:23 amDennis SchroderPG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Dennis Schroder turned 31 minutes off the bench into 17 points, two rebounds, two steals, a block and three 3-pointers on Wednesday night
Schroder is getting plenty of minutes, even if coming off the bench. He is a top-75 player in the last two weeks, and can keep that up if the playing time stays.
December 12, 2019, 12:22 amErsan IlyasovaPF, Milwaukee Bucks
Ersan Ilyasova made the most of a spot start on Wednesday, chipping in 18 points (8-of-10 shooting), nine rebounds, two 3, three assists and one steal in 27 minutes.
Ilyasova joined the Bucks starting five with Giannis Antetokounmpo out with right quad soreness. He's a short-term value stream while the Greek Freak is on the mend, but should return to the shadows of fantasy obscurity once the Bucks' MVP candidate is active and playing once again.
December 12, 2019, 12:19 amEric BledsoePG, Milwaukee Bucks
With Giannis Antetokounmpo (right quad soreness) missing Wednesday's game, Eric Bledsoe picked up the slack and led the Bucks to victory over the Pelicans, 127-112 with 29 points on 10-of-13 shooting.
Bledsoe was on fire, making 5-of-6 shots from deep, adding six dimes, three boards and two steals in arguably his best game of the season. Bledsoe has not lived up to expectations thus far, but tonight's gem should help rectify his less-than-stellar ranking.
December 12, 2019, 12:15 amDevin BookerSG, Phoenix Suns
Devin Booker found himself with a double-double at the end of Wednesday night's 115-108 loss to the Grizzlies, ending with 15 points and 10 assists on 6-of-17 from the field.
Booker hadn't reached double-digit assists since recording 10 in the season-opener. It's not something owners can count on, but it's nice to see it from time-to-time. He is hovering around the top-30 on the season, and will likely stay around there moving forward.
December 12, 2019, 12:15 amBrook LopezC, Milwaukee Bucks
Brook Lopez was slowed by a bit of foul trouble on Wednesday and as a result was limited to nine points on 3-of-10 shooting with five rebounds, three assists, two treys and one block.
Lopez has been off lately, failing to score in double figures in five straight games now. He's still a quality stretch five by the league's standards and is a buy-low target at the moment.
