• Jonas Valanciunas
    C, Memphis Grizzlies

Jonas Valanciunas struggled with foul trouble in the Grizzlies' first game back in action on Friday in Orlando but was dynamite on offense in his limited action, finishing with 16 points (4-for-4 FG, 1-for-1 3PT, 7-for-8 FT), four rebounds and an assist in just 14 minutes.

Valanciunas had four fouls for the entire third quarter and picked up his fifth foul early in the fourth quarter (with 9:59 left in regulation). He got to the line and knocked down his free throws, which is a big chunk of what he's expected to do for this team. Valanciunas' play seems to complement that of both youngsters Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson Jr. so look for all three of them to continue to play alongside each other. The former just needs to stay out of foul trouble. Defensive discipline will come with time as he gets more games under his belt.
