Jonas Valanciunas broke out his slump to the tune of a 25 point, 13 board double-double against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
He had yet to really step up in Kyle Lowry‘s absence before tonight, but he took full advantage of Anthony Davis‘ absence in the second half. Valanciunas went 9-of-13 from the floor and added two assists and one block to his line. Tonight’s outing aside, however, he continues to return just top-80 value on the season. He’s averaging just 26.3 minutes per game, and is inconsistent when he’s on the court.
