Jonas Valanciunas continued his excellent play of late with 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks in just 23 minutes on Wednesday.
Again, the Raptors didn’t need their starters in the fourth quarter. After a lackadaisical first quarter where they surrendered 31 points, they snapped into shape and took care of business in the second and third. That’s been the norm of late but JV has still been rolling along to the tune of top-70 value over the last two weeks. He was 7-of-9 from the field tonight and is always a reliable source of efficient scoring and rebounding. A boost in playing time would be nice but Big Science is well worth your time anyway.
