Jonathon Simmons had his second single digit outing in three games on Wednesday, scoring nine points to go with one 3-pointer, three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 18 minutes.
More concerning might be the fact that this was Simmons’ second 18-minute game in the past three. He had logged at least 20 minutes in every game prior to this short stretch and could be in line for more cuts to his playing time if Terrence Ross gets going. Simmons is scoring four fewer points per game in October than he did in November, which is accompanied by a drop in efficiency from .533 to .474 and an extra 0.7 turnovers per game. He’s outside the top-200 and never really had the look of a sustainable fantasy asset. Hopefully you were able to flip him quick.
