February 10, 2019, 7:01 pmJonathon Simmons - F - Philadelphia Sixers
Jonathon Simmons wasn't expected to play on Sunday despite being listed as available but ended up seeing three minutes of garbage time.
Simmons had missed the last three games of his Magic career with a left oblique strain but should be ready when called upon in Philly. Brett Brown wanted to give Simmons more practice time before putting him into the rotation but it's unlikely that he carves out any fantasy value.
June 18, 2019, 1:28 pmR.J. Barrett - Team - College
R.J. Barrett has been working on improving his jumper and shot off the dribble with his new shooting coach.
Barrett is widely expected to be amongst the top three picks in the NBA Draft on Thursday. Coming into Duke, he was widely considered to be the top prospect in the country but wound up being overshadowed by fellow teammate Zion Williamson. Barrett has the potential to be the best player in this draft, and improving his shot is just the first step in that direction. We will find out which uniform he’ll be donning in a couple short days.
June 18, 2019, 1:18 pmAntony Ressler - Team - Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks have been aggressive in exploring trade packages of the No. 8 and 10 picks in order to move up in the draft.
The Pelicans and Knicks are two teams the Hawks have been talking to and it was reported that the Knicks rebuffed the offer while the Pelicans have engaged. The Pelicans are also looking to move up in the draft as well. There are a lot of moving parts in the early parts of this draft outside of Zion Williamson at number one.

June 18, 2019, 12:54 pmMarkelle Fultz - G - Orlando Magic
Markelle Fultz has been in Orlando working out and the Magic coaches are "very excited" about the progress he has made and where he is at.
Fultz' career to this point is best classified as flat-out weird. Since being taken with the #1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, Fultz has barely played because of a shoulder condition that's full details remain mysterious or misconstrued to this day. After being dealt to the Magic midseason for not much in return, Fultz is looking to prove his health and recapture the hype he had coming into the NBA. Expect more updates about his progress all offseason.

June 18, 2019, 12:41 pmDarius Garland - G - College
The Knicks, who have the number three pick in the NBA Draft, are hosting Darius Garland for a last-minute workout on Wednesday.
It has been widely expected that the Knicks were going to go with Duke’s R.J. Barrett with the 3rd pick, but there remains many moving parts leading up to Thursday’s draft. The Pelicans could move up from number four by trading with the Grizzlies, which would make Barrett potentially unavailable and Ja Morant in play for the Knicks in this scenario. One of Garland, Morant and Barrett will likely become the new face of the Knicks in a few days. We are in for an exciting night on Thursday.

June 18, 2019, 11:48 amAl Horford - F/C - Boston Celtics
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that All-Star center Al Horford will decline to exercise his $30.1 million option for the 2019-20 season and become an unrestricted free agent.
While Horford will move into the free-agent marketplace on June 30th, there is motivation for both him and the Celtics to work toward an agreement on a new long-term contract. The versatile big man averaged 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds for the Celtics this past season, his third with Boston since signing a four-year $113 million free-agent deal.

June 18, 2019, 9:23 amKawhi Leonard - F - Toronto Raptors
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski does not believe a Big Three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Kawhi Leonard with the Lakers is a likely scenario entering the 2019 offseason.
Appearing on Tuesday morning on Get Up, Woj reported that Leonard’s decision in free agency will probably come down to re-signing with the Raptors or joining the Clippers in Los Angeles. Steve Ballmer and the Clippers are poised to lure him away from Toronto and this will likely be a Raptors-Clippers fight all the way down to the end. Woj also added that Kawhi may take meetings with more teams, but it’s not even certain he’d even take a meeting with the Lakers right now.
June 18, 2019, 9:12 amDion Waiters - G - Miami Heat
According to Kevin Pelton of ESPN, with All-Stars Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson likely to miss a big chunk, if not all, of next season, the Warriors will spend the summer on the lookout for help, and one of their targets may be Heat guard Dion Waiters.
Durant, Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins could all be lost in free agency, but even if all three players re-sign, the Warriors will have no salary left under the cap to sign free agents and the only possible way to improve would be through a trade. Waiters has two years and around $27 million remaining on his contract while the Heat are very open to trading him. He could see a boost in his numbers if traded to the Warriors but his efficiency has always been an issue.
June 18, 2019, 9:00 amBradley Beal - G - Washington Wizards
According to Ben Standig of NBC Sports Washington, the Pelicans have a “sincere interest” in exploring a trade for Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal.
The Wizards seem to be determined to keep Beal, but they currently don’t have a general manager, and perhaps their stance could change. The basis for trading Beal centers on maximizing his asset value with two years and $56 million remaining on his original five-year contract signed in 2016. Washington will likely struggle next season with fellow guard John Wall out and an evolving roster that currently has only five players with guaranteed contract. Beal is coming off an outstanding season in which he averaged a career-highs of 25.6 points and 5.0 rebounds, and almost single-handedly kept the Wizards in a chase for a playoff spot until the season’s final weeks.

June 18, 2019, 8:23 amR.J. Barrett - G - College
According to an NBA source, the Pelicans have explored moving back to gain more assets and also had internal talks about moving up to the second pick in order to draft R.J. Barrett, who is Zion Williamson’s best friend.
That trade-up maneuver, however unlikely, would allow Murray State’s Ja Morant to fall to the Knicks at No. 3. The Knicks had Morant higher on their board than Barrett at the Chicago combine, but that also was before Morant recently underwent knee surgery. For now, it seems that New York is locked in at keeping the third pick, contrary to a couple weeks earlier, when they were open to moving back. The Pelicans meanwhile continue to explore all possible avenues in order to better use the No. 4 pick which they have acquired from the Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade.

June 17, 2019, 10:55 pmHassan Whiteside - C - Miami Heat
According to Barry Jackson, Hassan Whiteside is expected to opt into the final year of his deal, which would pay him $27.1 million.
This was obviously anticipated, but with Whiteside dissatisfied with his current role with the Heat, there was a sliver of doubt that he'd want to stay in Miami. Jackson mentions that there were talks regarding a Whiteside for Mike Conley deal that didn't get very far. The Heat will be looking at a luxury tax bill unless they can cut some salary, so Whiteside isn't a lock to remain on the roster. A change of scenery could help his fantasy outlook, as unlikely as a trade may be. We're likely to see him return in a backup center role that limits him to late-round fantasy production at best.
