Jonathon Simmons missed Saturday’s practice with an illness but still logged 35 minutes against the Heat, collecting 12 points, three triples, six rebounds, six assists and a block.
It’s a nice bounce back game for Simmons, who has been outside the top-200 over the last two weeks. Most of his value comes from the sheer volume of counting stats that his huge workload permits, but he’s not a strong per-minute player and will need to expand his game to become an exciting option. His minutes make Simmons worth owning in standard leagues but he’s just a late-round asset.
