• Starting in place of point guard Shelvin Mack, Jonathon Simmons logged 21 minutes in Sunday’s defeat and produced 14 points, three rebounds and one assist on 5-of-11 shooting.

Simmons didn’t get much going tonight, and it’s hardly surprising to see the team shoot .363 without a natural distributor orchestrating the offense. He’ll typically contribute more rebounds and steals, though money stats have never seemed like a sneaky valuable part of Simmons’ profile. He’s best suited for deep leagues. Mack, for what it’s worth, played 24 minutes and picked up eight points, three rebounds, three assists and a block. He’ll be worth using in fantasy as the last point guard standing, and we’d expect Orlando to use a more traditional starting five that includes Mack going forward.
