Jonathon Simmons was a non-factor in Tuesday’s loss, going 1-for-8 from the field and finishing with four points and four rebounds in 32 minutes.
A complete and total dud. We’ve been wary of Simmons all season given his obvious stat set issues, and tonight took those worries to the extreme. He belongs on standard league rosters given his sheer workload but he’s the rare volume scorer than doesn’t really chip in threes. When he’s not getting his buckets efficiently owners have nothing to fall back on. Simmons will undoubtedly be better than this going forward but he’s really just a late-round play.
