Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points in 31 minutes for the Lakers on Saturday, shooting 7-of-12 from the field with four 3-pointers.
Despite starting point guard D’Angelo Russell (rest) out for this game, the Lakers elected to go with Brandon Ingram in the starting unit, keeping Clarkson in a reserve role. Clarkson might be hard pressed to find 31 minutes when everyone is healthy, but the Lakers backcourt situation is anything but set in stone. Keep an eye on this fluid situation as Clarkson remains productive when he’s getting the minutes. Efficient shooting nights such as this help that cause.
