Jordan Clarkson delivered the counting stats in Monday’s start with 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists and four steals but got owners off to a bad start in the efficiency department with an 8-of-24 shooting line.
Clarkson will start for at least the next week with Lonzo Ball sidelined, so make sure he’s owned in all leagues. His top-190 production this year leaves a little bit to be desired but he’s got to be in lineups while the starting job is his. Shooting 32.8 percent on 12.8 attempts over your last five doesn’t typically scream must-add, but Clarkson saw 35 minutes tonight and owns a career .443 mark from the field. He’ll pull out of this slump, and you just have to hope that it comes sooner rather than later. With a big role over the next week, he’s worth the risk.
