Josh Hart scored a career-high 30 points in the Lakers' season finale victory over the Clippers on Wednesday night, adding five rebounds, five assists, one steal and seven 3-pointers.
Saving your career-high and best shooting performance of your rookie season for the last night of the season is an excellent move and Hart pulled it off. Hart had his moments throughout his rookie season but he's been another animal since returning from injury. He was an unexpected contributor from October until February but then Hart missed a month of action with a broken left hand. Since returning though, Hart finished strong and put on a show, averaging 16.5 points and seven rebounds in the final eight games of the season. The future looks bright in LA and Hart is one of the guys bringing the unexpected sunshine, finishing in the top-50 over the final two weeks of the season.
