Josh Jackson had a nice showing in the Suns’ 104-113 loss on Wednesday, finishing with 22 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 40 minutes of action.
Jackson also shot 9-of-19 and if we’re really nitpicking it would’ve been nice to get a 3-pointer in there somewhere. It’s hard not to be excited by this line, even though the playing time was inflated by Phoenix’s bare bones roster tonight. The Suns can play Jackson all over the court and his development will be one of their main goals this season. He’s generating some hype thanks to the stat set he put on display tonight, but we’re not sure he can produce with so many effective fantasy players around him. Jackson is worth a late-round flier but don’t hold out hopes for a major impact right away.
