In an article from Chris Dempsey, Nuggets Owner Josh Kroenke calls the upcoming season a growth year.
Kroenke was quoted as stating“I like the direction of the train. I like the speed and direction of the train. We needed to reinvent who we were last year, culturally, in our locker room as well as establish a new identity on the court. I think that historically we’ve always played fast here, and I think that that’s something we want to continue to do, but you can’t do it at the expense of your defense.” The Nuggets have a number of young players to keep an eye on this year including Emmanuel Mudiay and Nikola Jokic and the team added rookie shooting guard Jamal Murray in the draft.
