Josh Okogie only played 14 minutes on Wednesday night but was able to deliver 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, a steal and a 3-pointer.
Okogie saved his night at the charity stripe, going 6-of-8. He only attempted that many free throws twice all of last season, so don't expect that to continue. In that light this performance is a little more discouraging, especially given the playing time and bench role, but it is worth noting that Okogie was tasked with shutting down a red-hot Kyrie Irving on the game's last possession. He can defend like hell, and we'd expect his minutes to tick up as a result.
