Josh Okogie impressed teammates early in training camp with his energy on both ends of the floor.
“Holy crap, Josh plays with so much energy,” said forward Anthony Tolliver. “He never stops on both ends of the floor. His motor is crazy. That’s really something that’s going to help this team, because that’s contagious,” said Tyus Jones. Okogie was a favorite of many following the NBA draft back in June and this was part of the reason. His potential to impact the game on both ends lies in his high motor, something Tom Thibodeau loves in players. With the likely exit of Jimmy Butler, there will be a gaping hole on the wing and Okogie could help fill it. Although, Thibodeau has a history of not giving rookies any meaningful playing time. He is one to watch during training camp and preseason.
