Josh Richardson recorded a team-high nine assists on 4-of-11 shooting (4-of-5 from the free throw line) on Saturday's win against the Grizzlies, adding six rebounds, nine assists and two steals.

Richardson finished Saturday's game with a career-high on his assists and those numbers have been trending up since the start of the new year. Also, the two steals that he logged today was a nice sigh of relief for his owners, especially since we would be expecting a consistent dose of defensive stats coming into this season (1.1 steals and 0.5 blocks) after recording 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks per game from the year prior. He's still a buy-low value so you can target owners who are getting frustrated at his production on the defensive end. Nonetheless, he still has a fantasy friendly game and should he maintain the defensive numbers, he'll be able to maintain that mid-round value. Time to pounce on him before he trends back up again.
