Julius Randle received just eight minutes in the Lakers’ win over the Rockets on Wednesday night, ending up with only four points, one rebound, one assist and one turnover.
On a night where Kyle Kuzma had a career game in 40 minutes and Larry Nance Jr. had an efficient 13-9-4-2 in 22 minutes, Julius Randle once again feels like the odd man out in LA. It’s a joyous night for Lakers fans, seeing their team beat the best team in the NBA in a tough road atmosphere. But not for fans of Randle. Even Corey Brewer is getting more of a look. He got 25 minutes on Wednesday and finished with 21 points, five rebounds, one assist and three steals. Who knows what happens with Julius at this point? Luke Walton has yo-yo’d his minutes before and it appears to be that time yet again.
