Justin Holiday drew the start at shooting guard on Wednesday, playing 23 minutes and finishing with seven points, six rebounds, one assist, one three and one steal in a big loss to the Mavs.
Holiday was a very shrewd addition by a much-maligned front office and should fit whatever role the Bulls give him. Denzel Valentine is the presumed starting shooting guard in the absence of Zach LaVine, but Holiday could very easily outplay him over the course of the preseason. He’s one of our favorite sleeper targets and is someone that deep league owners should be watching very closely.
