Jusuf Nurkic shot 7-of-12 from the field for 15 points, but could only muster up six rebounds and a block in Wednesday’s loss.
To his credit, Nurk was one of few Blazers to make any sort of half-efficient impact on offense. It’s cold comfort for owners who have watched a middle-round selection flounder around the standard league fringes (or waste away outside the top-200 in 9-cat leagues) but perhaps a turnaround is coming. You may have seen a buy low offer floated in your direction if you’re disgruntled with Nurkic’s performance to date, and while he should rebound to become at least playable there’s mounting evidence that last year’s post-deadline run was an aberration.
