Jusuf Nurkic delivered a dud on Wednesday with six points and three rebounds as he was limited to just 20 minutes because of four personal fouls.
It’s always two steps forward and one step back for Nurkic, who looks like a shell of the player that delivered top-65 value after last season’s trade deadline. Nurk briefly departed the game with a left elbow contusion but it doesn’t appear to be serious. He’s been a top-140/190 guy in 8/9-cat this season and while he should be able to improve on that there’s no chance that he makes good on his middle-round ADP. Ed Davis double-doubled in 25 minutes with 11 points and 10 rebounds while Zach Collins picked up eight points and five boards in 19 minutes. Davis is a rebounding specialist for deep league owners but the best shot at fantasy value from the center spot in Portland is Nurkic getting back on track.
