Karl-Anthony Towns had a game to forget on Saturday, picking up 15 points, 11 rebounds, two triples, a steal and a block but shooting just 3-for-15 as the Wolves were blown out by the Sixers.
Don't be fooled by the final score — Minnesota won the fourth quarter by 15 points with an all bench group. KAT had some troubles with Joel Embiid in this one and both he and the Wolves struggled to really get things going tonight. He'll be fine going forward, obviously, though this was a serious gut punch to anybody involved in a close playoff matchup. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy Towns' inevitable bounce-back next week. Andrew Wiggins was the only starter with a halfway decent line, going for 16-8-4 on 7-of-17 from the field. He also went 2-of-5 from the free throw line, so maybe nobody was good tonight. No argument from us.
