Karl-Anthony Towns missed the fifth game of the season and his career on Wednesday night, wrapping up his season with averages of 24.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.6 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers as well as top-5 fantasy value in all permutations.
It took a potentially fatal car accident for Towns to miss the first few games of his career, and he missed three more with right knee inflammation (including the meaningless final two games of the year) thereafter. The rebounds, assists, steals and 3-pointers were all new personal bests for KAT, and he remained an absolutely dominant fantasy player despite shooting under 54 percent for the first time in his career (.518). The sky really is the limit for Towns, and you'll have to get some draft lottery luck in order to land him for the next decade or so.
