Karl-Anthony Towns struggled against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. He shot 3-of-15 from the field (0-of-6 from downtown), but still managed to finish the game with a double-double, recording 11 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block.
The shooting has not been on point for KAT so far this season and it’s games like these that drag down those averages. Still, those counting stats were a sight for sore eyes though. He still isn’t returning early round value, which is disappointing considering his ADP in fantasy, but Towns is still a special player and is fully capable of still turning his game up another notch and heating up. Patience with the sophomore is advised, because at this point it’s highly unlikely that another manager will be willing to overpay for him.
