Kawhi Leonard dropped 32 points, four assists, 12 boards, two steals, one block on 10-of-24 from the field, 5-of-8 from deep and 7-of-8 from the line in Tuesday’s 95-89 overtime win over the Grizzlies.
Lamarcus Aldridge chipped in with 15 & 6 while Tony Parker had his second solid game in a row with 10 & 7. Aldridge returned from a one game absence, but after playing 41 minutes tonight it seems as though his thumb injury is behind him. The concern here is that there are six games to go with little to no chance of catching the Warriors for the top seed. The vets are all potential rest candidates for the home stretch so check Hoop-Ball daily for updates. As for Leonard, he is on pace to set career-highs in points, assists, threes, free throw attempts and percentage.
