Kawhi Leonard finished with 21 points, six assists and 11 boards on 5-of-14 from the field, 3-of-7 from deep and 8-of-8 from the line in Monday’s loss the the Rockets.
Leonard was the leading scorer and lone bright spot for the Spurs in one of their worst losses of the season. No other player eclipsed more than 11 points. The Spurs have to be worried as aside from Kawhi Leonard they have gotten little out of anyone else this postseason. Tony Parker did have a decent last series, but is a liability on defense against the young Rockets guards. LaMarcus Aldridge who is supposedly star #2 scored just four points and has been an average player so far. Kawhi has been carrying the Spurs, but unless he gets some help their Spurs playoff run could be a short one.
