Kelly Olynyk came to play on Saturday night, scoring 17 points, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing three assists in the Celtics’ 112-108 overtime victory over the Bucks.
Olynyk inherited some extra playing time with regular Al Horford still nursing a groin injury. The seven-footer was third on the team in minutes played with 35 for the night, and shot an efficient 7-of-12 from the floor. Olynyk is one of those rare bigs that can both pass the ball and shoot the three, so if Horford remains out for an extended amount of time, the short term value will be here for the 25-year-old.
