Olynyk outplayed starter Meyers Leonard and played more minutes. He shot well from three, going 4-of-9 and dished out good assist numbers.

Gordon Hayward

Gordon Hayward played 29 minutes on Wednesday and paired 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting with seven rebounds and three assists.

Hayward is playing a surprising amount of minutes considering he's only just returned to the lineup, but his per-minute production and shot totals are way down. In his absence Jaylen Brown has really solidified himself as the second-option offensively, pushing Hayward further down the pecking order. As he continues to come off the bench his shot attempts will likely continue resembling those of a fourth or even fifth option. He'll have to make an impact elsewhere if he wants to help his team come back from a 3-1 deficit.

Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart had a playoff career-high 11 assists on Wednesday along with 10 points, one three, two rebounds, a block and four turnovers.

Smart set his teammates up for multiple great shots in the second half as five of his assists came from made 3-pointers. Unfortunately, he bricked most of his own attempts, hitting just 1-of-8 shots from beyond the arc. Smart isn't expected to be an efficient scorer, but when he takes and misses that many threes, he can drag down the Celtics' offense.

Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker scored a modest 20 points on 6-of-14 FGs alongside three triples, four rebounds and five assists in Wednesday's loss.

Walker had a modest game tonight but couldn't replicate the great efficiency he had in the Celtics prior win. He's shot 38% from deep for the season but has struggled with his shot quite often in these playoffs. There were only two games against the Raptors in which he shot higher than 20% from three and the Celtics one win in this series has come when Walker shot 50% both from the field and from deep. With Gordon Hayward, Walker isn't going to be getting as many shots as he was, so he'll need to be more efficient if the Celtics hope to pull themselves out of this hole.

Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown scored 21 points (8-of-14 FG, 4-of-7 3PT) and grabbed nine rebounds along with two assists, a steal and a block as the Celtics went down 3-1 to the Heat on Wednesday.

Brown was solid as ever in Game 4 with his only black mark being four turnovers. Through these playoffs he's demonstrated his skill in the mid-range and has been incredibly reliable as a 3-point shooter from the corner. His shooting from deep was one of the most meaningful improvements he made in his game this year, increasing his accuracy from 34% to 38%. Brown's defense is consistently lauded but it's his rise on the offensive end that's helped the Celtics get this far.

Jayson Tatum

Jayson Tatum went scoreless in the first half on Wednesday, but woke up in the third quarter and ended with 28 points (10-of-22 FG, 4-of-11 3PT), nine rebounds, four assists, a steal and three blocks.

Tatum had a brutal first half, missing every shot and turning the ball over frequently. Once he finally woke up and started hitting shots, he was almost able to salvage a messy game. Unfortunately his turnovers and foul trouble continued to hamper the Celtics’ comeback. Despite how sloppy his game was overall he demonstrated a lot of poise in the final minutes and hit multiple clutch threes to give his team a chance at tieing the series. He'll need to replicate that fourth quarter performance over three games if he wants to save the Celtics from elimination.
