Kelly Oubre had a nice game in his Friday night homecoming, posting 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, four steals and a 3-pointer in 33 minutes off the bench against the Pelicans.
The New Orleans native was just 4-of-14 from the floor but did enough with the counting stats to make it work for owners tonight. He’s been floating around the top-150 all season long and has a sizable enough workload that you can feel comfortable about a plug-and-play at pretty much any time. Oubre is worth an add if you need rebounds, steals and some threes. He’s also a nice handcuff for most of Washington’s starters, as he can play both wing positions and even the four if Scott Brooks really wants to live on the edge. Oubre also awarded ten local kids with college scholarships tonight, which is fantastic off-the-court work. Mike Scott also got hot off the bench and finished with 14 points, but he’s nothing more than a roll of the dice in deep leagues.
