Kemba Walker narrowly missed out on a double-double on Thursday night, finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in 46 minutes as the Celtics outlasted the Clippers.
Walker put up good popcorn numbers but 5-of-17 shooting is just ugly. He should be fine the rest of the way, but might not be a second-round asset like he was drafted to be. The only other guard to play significant minutes behind Walker and Marcus Smart in the absence of Jaylen Brown was Brad Wanamaker, who managed nine points in 26 minutes, so Walker should get as much run as he can handle.
