Starting in place of the injured Paul Millsap, Kenneth Faried was a surprising 1-of-7 from the field in 19 minutes on Monday, finishing with six points, seven rebounds, one steal and one block in a win over the Kings.
Faried is typically someone who can boost your field goal percentage but did some harm in that area tonight. At least he picked up some defensive stats to help soften the blow. The Manimal should start as long as Millsap is out and is a nightly double-double threat in legitimate minutes but his fantasy relevance has a ticking clock attached to it. He’s not worth moving on outside of deep leagues or if you’re in dire need of rebounds.
