Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will sign a two-year, $16 million deal with the Lakers according to Ramona Shelburne.
KCP is getting paid too much here but he's a Klutch client and the Lakers just want to be sure they retain enough serviceable players to keep LeBron and Anthony Davis happy, while maintaining credibility around the league after a bumpy stretch. KCP will be crowded out a bit by Danny Green but the Lakers backcourt isn't exactly teeming with talent, so he might have some very low-end value in fantasy leagues.
