Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is not with the Pistons on Wednesday as he tends to a personal matter, so Reggie Bullock will start in his place.
Despite his recent struggles, Caldwell-Pope is typically a steady source of threes and steals in a big minute role so his owners are left in a bit of a bind here. Bullock is not a recommended play, and it’ll likely be Marcus Morris drawing the defensive assignment on DeMar DeRozan to begin the night. He seems the most likely to pick up extra shots though the Pistons could turn to any number of bench players to step up. It’s a situation to avoid if possible.
