Kevin Durant hung a 38-8-8 line on the Cavs in the Warriors’ 113-90 blowout victory Thursday night.
Durant was aggressive from the start and had his way with easy dunks during the first half. Even when the Cavs loaded up on him he displayed his playmaking ability, finding open teammates all over the floor. His passing was a skill he wanted to work on more and tonight it looked great. Curry took a backseat to Durant and the Warriors offense primarily flowed through KD as he scored 25 points or more in the sixth straight Finals game. He shot an efficient 14-for-26 from the field and hit 3-for-6 from deep. On the defensive end, Durant did a great job containing LeBron James on the perimeter. He looks determined to get his first ring and looks to continue his hot shooting in Game 2 Sunday.
