Rookie Kevin Knox shot it much better from the floor (7-of-14) and scraped together 17 points (three 3s) and six rebounds in Friday’s loss to the Nets.
Unlike his last game he didn’t get any defensive stats but he also didn’t have any turnovers. His young game has some holes in it but the Knicks will give him every shot to produce popcorn stats and if he has a few more games scoring in double-figures he’ll be getting added to many teams. Scoring boost aside, he’s probably better suited for deeper leagues right now though he could go nuts with usage if the Knicks start to fall out of playoff contention. Fellow rookie Mitchell Robinson didn’t play despite being active. Frank Ntilikina started again and chipped in nine points, four assists, three steals, a 3 and zero turnovers.
