The Warriors dispatched the Knicks on Tuesday night despite some subpar nights from Draymond Green, who posted 12 points, five rebounds, six assists, two threes, one steal and one block, and Klay Thompson, who finished with nine points, two rebounds and four assists.
That’s a little harsh considering Green did fill up every category, though it wasn’t as gaudy a line as owners were hoping for considering the matchup. He’ll probably be filling up the assist and rebound categories a little more in the next one as there’s nothing to worry about here. The same can be said for Thompson, who didn’t make any of his three attempts from behind the arc. That’s two such outings in his last six games after a wild run of 95 straight games with a 3-pointer. He’ll be fine. Both players were named to the All-Star team today and will probably recapture that form in the immediate future.
