Klay Thompson played 29 minutes in a blowout win against the Pacers on Monday, finishing with 60 points on 21-of-33 from the field to go along with 10-of-11 from the line, eight 3-pointers, two rebounds, one assist and no turnovers.
Thompson crushed his previous career-high of 52 points two seasons ago against the Kings. He had 40 by the end of the first half. The “third wheel” of the Warriors is known for his ability to erupt any game from downtown and he was certainly due for one of these games. He still hasn’t reached his ADP despite this huge game, but can still get there. Maybe he can carry this momentum for the rest of the season. The lack of steals and blocks continue to limit his value as he’s currently ranked in the top-40.
