Klay Thompson shot 25 percent from the field (6-of-24) and 50 percent from the line (1-of-2) for 17 points with four triples on Monday against the Lakers, he added ten boards and two assists.
With Stephen Curry and Draymond Green out it was speculated that Thompson would step it up, and while his scoring is up slightly his overall fantasy value is down with Curry and Green out of the lineup. Thompson is a top-35 value in 8-cat and top-30 player in 9-cat on the year and he should be seen as a stable asset at that valuation. His shooting percentage is up slightly this year but his defensive stats are down a tad so don’t over think it and keep rolling him out on a nightly basis.
