Klay Thompson played 36 minutes on Saturday to beat the Spurs in Game 3 with 17 points, three triples, six rebounds and two assists.
Thompson’s shot hasn’t been falling this series as he shot a miserable 6-of-21 in the previous two games combined. With seven of his 15 shots going in tonight, it’s a trend in the right direction. Thompson should be using this series as a step in the right direction as he’ll need to make his open shots and play good defense in the NBA Finals presumably against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
