The Knicks aren't intent on working Joakim Noah back into the fold and will waive him using the stretch provision in September.
Noah has two years and $37.8 million left on his deal so the Knicks will try and work out a trade before September 1, but don't count on them finding any takers. Noah's salary will be spread across three years at smaller hits to the cap. Somewhere, Tom Thibodeau feels a disturbance in the force.
