June 21, 2018, 1:03 pmScott PerryTeam, New York Knicks
The Knicks are reportedly reluctant to dole out any long-term deals this summer as they shift their focus to the summer of 2019.
That's when Kyrie Irving and Kawhi Leonard will be free agents. Irving has already reportedly indicated his interest in playing for New York while it's being speculated that people in Leonard's camp think the Knicks would be a good destination for him. It's worth mentioning that the Knicks have also been part of some trade-up discussions, but this report makes it seem unlikely that they'd part with many futures to do it. It's a smart call with Kristaps Porzingis on the shelf for a part of this year. If the Knicks are going to become contenders again, it probably won't be next season.

February 26, 2020, 12:43 amJaylen BrownSG, Boston Celtics
Jaylen Brown's 24 points (8-of-19 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs) helped the Celtics cruise to a road win over the Blazers on Tuesday, and he also contributed seven boards, two dimes, a steal and a three in his 34 minutes.
Brown's breakout season continues. He should have no trouble providing top-100 value for the rest of the season with upside for top-50 production if he can get his defensive stats up a bit.
February 26, 2020, 12:33 amMarcus SmartPG, Boston Celtics
Marcus Smart didn't shoot well on Tuesday, going 4-for-9 from deep but 0-of-7 from two-point land, good for 12 points in 31 minutes against the Blazers.
The rest of Smart's line was solid with six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Smart has been starting with Kemba Walker (left knee soreness) out, but his production hasn't been much different than when he comes off the bench.
February 26, 2020, 12:25 amJayson TatumSF, Boston Celtics
Jayson Tatum was stellar again as he led the Celtics to a 118-106 win over the Blazers on Tuesday with a game-high 36 points on 14-of-22 shooting with eight 3-pointers, five rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 34 minutes.
Tatum has crept his way into first-round value for the season. His improvements in points and threes this year have even grown recently. His shooting will cool off at some point, but he’s a safe bet to produce second-round value for the rest of the season.
February 26, 2020, 12:02 amNikola JokicC, Denver Nuggets
Nikola Jokic was able to put together a well-rounded two-way performance in Tuesday's easy win over the Pistons, recording 16 points (5-of-8 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, one trey and four steals in 28 minutes.
Jokic is in full cruise control mode right now and is coasting towards a top-10 finish to the season. His efficiency and multi-cat lines have made his upward curve all the more enjoyable for his owners.
February 25, 2020, 11:55 pmJamal MurrayPG, Denver Nuggets
Jamal Murray played a solid 33 minutes for the Nuggets in their 115-98 win over the Pistons on Tuesday, registering 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting with five rebounds, eight dimes, two 3s, one steal and one block.
The full line was a nice touch and to Murray's credit, he's been showing a more active presence on both ends of the floor lately – helping him improve on his locked up top-50 value on the season.
February 25, 2020, 11:52 pmJerami GrantSF, Denver Nuggets
Jerami Grant led the Nuggets with a team-high 29 points on 12-of-16 shooting, adding five boards, three treys and one assist in 29 minutes.
In case the math slipped you by, Grant scored one point per minute, which is obviously impressive. That said, he's been trending down and was a big drop candidate since moving back to the bench. This was a blowout game, so play it prudent and wait and see with Grant for now.
February 25, 2020, 11:46 pmDerrick RosePG, Detroit Pistons
Derrick Rose had himself had a solid performance on Tuesday, posting 20 points (6-of-14 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), two rebounds, the five assists, one 3-pointer and two steals in 22 minutes.
There's no chance that Rose is getting a buyout and considering the Pistons' place in the standings and the makeup of their current roster, he's got a nice path for value within the top-150. That said, there could be some maintenance days for rest down the road for him.
February 25, 2020, 11:38 pmDonta HallPF, Detroit Pistons
Donta Hall made his NBA debut on Tuesday and quietly put up four points, four rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes off the bench.
This was a good eye test for Hall, who is currently on a 10-day deal. He can be left on the wire with confidence.
February 25, 2020, 11:36 pmPascal SiakamPF, Toronto Raptors
Pascal Siakam splashed five 3-pointers on his way to 22 points (6-of-14 FGs) on Tuesday in a home loss to the Bucks while adding six rebounds, three assists and a block in 38 minutes.
It's the third time in five games that Siakam has drained at least five 3-pointers. Siakam just continues to improve, tossing in more threes and even a few more blocks recently. He probably won't make it to Giannis Antetokounmpo's level in reality, but with the discrepancy in free throw percentage and threes, he's nearly caught him in fantasy production.
February 25, 2020, 11:35 pmJohn HensonPF, Detroit Pistons
John Henson started for the Pistons on Tuesday but was not able to put up a noteworthy performance with just four points (2-of-4 shooting), seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 22 minutes.
Henson had been making some noise off the bench prior to this quiet night, so it's understandably a bit disappointing. Expect the Pistons to do a bit more tinkering as the season draws to a close. Thon Maker moved to the bench and suffered a big loss in value with just two points, three rebounds and one steal in six minutes.
